At Ziago Technologies Private Limited, we intend to offer a safe and smooth payment processing experience for both merchants and their shoppers. This Cancellation and Refund Policy stipulates the terms under which refunds and cancellations are processed when utilizing our payment gateway services.
1. Scope of the Policy
This policy is applicable to:
All registered merchants utilizing Ziago Technologies Private Limited payment gateway services.
Customers who transact through our merchants’ sites.
2. Our Function as a Payment Gateway
Ziago Technologies Private Limited is only a payment processor and never sells any products or services directly. Therefore:
Merchants are entirely responsible for order cancellation and refunds.
Customers have to contact the merchant directly for any cancellation or refund request.
3. Cancellation Policy
For Merchants:
Merchants have to maintain their order cancellation policy clearly on their platform.
Any cancellation should be notified to Ziago Technologies Private Limited if the payment has already been made and requires a reversal.
Merchant-initiated cancellations before transaction settlement might save transaction fees, depending on the status.
For Customers:
Customers should contact the merchant for cancelling an order.
If the merchant successfully cancels an order, the refund (if any) shall be initiated by the merchant via Ziago Technologies Private Limited
4. Refund Policy
Merchant-Initiated Refunds:
Refunds may only be requested by the merchant via their Ziago Technologies Private Limited merchant dashboard or by mail to info@ziagotechnologies.com.
After a refund request has been received and verified, Ziago Technologies Private Limited will issue it within 2–5 business days.
Refunds will be issued back to the customer’s original payment method processing times may take longer.
Customer-Initiated Refunds:
Customer-initiated refunds require that the customer contact the merchant directly to ask for a refund.
If the merchant does not reply within 10 business days, customers can contact Ziago Technologies Private Limited at info@ziagotechnologies.com. We will help to make them talk but cannot issue a refund without the consent of the merchant, unless required by law.
5. Non-Refundable Items
Fees for processing a transaction, gateway fees, and convenience fees levied by Ziago Technologies Private Limited are not refundable, except in case of a technical or system failure on our part.
Refund for unauthorized or fraudulent transactions can be held or rejected pending investigation.
6. Chargebacks
Any chargebacks initiated by customers with their issuing bank will be processed in accordance with normal industry practices.
Merchants will be notified and asked to respond with supporting documentation.
Repeated or unresolved chargebacks can cause suspension or termination of the merchant account.
7. Dispute Resolution
Ziago Technologies Private Limited urges customers and traders to settle all disagreements in a friendly manner. In situations of unresolved matters, Ziago Technologies Private Limited can mediate as much as possible but does not offer refunds except as needed by law.
